Coming up: International Forum for Sports Integrity
The fifth International Forum for Sports Integrity (IFSI), held under the theme Evolving for Integrity, will take place on 24 October this year at Olympic House in Lausanne, Switzerland. Organised by the IOC, the event will bring together representatives from sports organisations, intergovernmental organisations, governmental agencies, gambling authorities and other experts in the field, and will address current and emerging challenges to sports integrity through a holistic and collaborative approach.
Discussions will focus on four key dimensions of sports integrity: organisational integrity, prevention of competition manipulation, the integrity of technical officials, and safeguarding. Emerging challenges and opportunities, including the increasing role of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), will also be addressed.
Building on the shared consensus within the sports community, the 5th IFSI will reaffirm its commitment to advancing integrity through the adoption of an action-oriented Universal Declaration on Sports Integrity.
Participation is on invitation only, but the event, which will be held in English, will be livestreamed here.
In the build-up to the IFSI, several meetings will be organised at Olympic House the day before, 23 October, including a meeting of the International Partnership against Corruption in Sport (IPACS) Steering Committee, the IPACS Annual General Conference, and a meeting of the Advisory Board of the Olympic Movement Unit on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions (OM Unit PMC).
