Isaiah Kioiloglou
Isaiah Kioiloglou is a Sport-for-Development Trainer and Facilitator, and the Founder of Sport4Dev Greece, the country’s first organisation combining sport and education to advance diversity, equity and inclusion. Since 2014, she has empowered over 1,500 individuals across 28 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa through non-formal education and Education Through Sport (ETS).
Her work focuses on gender equality, youth empowerment, refugee and migrant integration, disability inclusion and sustainability. Isaiah collaborates with organisations such as the International Olympic Truce Centre in Athens, working alongside Olympians and Paralympians to bring sport-based programmes into schools. She believes in the transformative power of sport as a bridge between values, philosophy and non-formal education.
Sport4Dev Greece is a non-profit organisation that harnesses the power of sport to drive social change. By turning playing fields into classrooms and athletes into leaders, it designs non-formal educational programmes that promote life skills, gender equality and inclusion of refugees, migrants and people with disabilities, while also raising awareness around sustainability.
Among its flagship initiatives is The Cycle of Femmability, Greece’s first sport-for-development programme dedicated to women with disabilities. Using goalball as a tool, women are trained to become facilitators of team-building workshops for corporate and community groups, creating new employability opportunities and shifting perceptions of inclusion. The organisation also runs Erasmus+ Youth exchanges, advocacy campaigns and podcasts that showcase inspiring stories of people using sport as a force for good.
