Georges Speyer
Georges Speyer, from France, holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management in Paris and has worked with the City of Paris on the Bouge & Partage programme. Passionate about inclusion, he volunteered at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the Athletes’ Village and at the Opening Ceremony, where he accompanied Kuwait’s delegation by boat. He is now developing LinkUp to connect people with disabilities and underprivileged youth to inclusive sports opportunities and volunteering experiences.
LinkUp is a digital platform that bridges gaps in accessibility by connecting people with disabilities and underserved youth to trained helpers, inclusive sports clubs and volunteering opportunities at major sporting events. By centralising volunteer roles, providing standardised safety guidelines and encouraging collaboration, the initiative reduces inequalities and empowers diverse communities to engage in sport. LinkUp fosters social cohesion, strengthens the culture of giving back, and ensures that everyone can experience the benefits of inclusive sport and volunteering.
