Three of its four competition venues were built specifically for Beijing 2022 and designed with their post-Games operation in mind. Together, Genting Snow Park – an existing venue – the National Cross-Country Skiing Centre, National Ski Jumping Centre and National Biathlon Centre form an international winter sports and tourism destination and a training base for high-performance athletes.

Genting Snow Park forms part of an existing ski resort. Its halfpipe, slopestyle, parallel giant slalom and ski/snowboard cross courses opened to the public after the Games. Aside from winter sports, it lays on family-oriented events and activities that include stargazing, children’s summer camps, and music and art festivals. It also hosts mass-participation events such as the Beijing-Zhangjiakou All-Season Sports Tourism Carnival.
