The Whistler Olympic Park

Built for the Olympic Winter Games Vancouver 2010, the Whistler Olympic Park hosted a total of 28 events at the Games, including cross-country skiing, biathlon, Nordic combined and ski jumping. Its construction was jointly funded by the governments of Canada and British Columbia.

The one-square-kilometre Olympic Park included three separate stadiums located about 400m apart, which hosted cross-country skiing, biathlon and ski jumping.

Since the Games, the Whistler Olympic Park has been open to the public. Both amateur and elite athletes, as well as casual visitors, come to enjoy winter sports and summer activities. The venue also hosts meetings, film shoots, and school outings.

Whistler Olympic Park operates as a non-profit organization, funded through ticket sales and an endowment that supports Nordic skiers and the promotion of sport.
