From the first Call Home programme at Nagano 1998, which enabled 2,500 athletes to contact their families free of charge, to the athlete-driven Victory Selfie at Paris 2024, Samsung has continually introduced technology that elevates how athletes and fans take part in the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Samsung’s central message for Milano Cortina 2026, Open always wins, continues the theme introduced at Paris 2024. It reflects the belief that, with an open mind, anything is possible, and that technology can spark connection, creativity and progress for everyone. 

**Team Samsung Galaxy**   
Samsung has supported Olympic and Paralympic athletes since its first Games in 1988. For Milano Cortina 2026, Team Samsung Galaxy will include athlete ambassadors from a range of countries and sports who represent the Open always wins philosophy. Through their stories and perspectives, they will inspire fans around the world.

**Enhancing the Games-time experience**   
Samsung will use its Galaxy technology to enrich Games-time moments and open up Milano Cortina 2026 for athletes and fans. From the pride and emotion of the Opening Ceremony to personal memories shared throughout competition, Samsung devices will help capture, connect and share every part of the Games. The athlete-led Victory Selfie, first introduced at Paris 2024, will also return for its Winter Olympics debut, helping athletes capture unique memories from their own perspective.
