RusSki Gorki Jumping Centre
RusSki Gorki was built for the Olympic Winter Games Sochi 2014 and hosted the ski jumping and the ski jumping part of the Nordic combined events. The first competitions at the centre’s large hill were held in summer 2012 with the FIS Continental Cup and the Nordic combined Summer Grand Prix. FIS World Cups were also staged for ski jumping and Nordic combined in December 2012 and March 2013. Also, in October 2013, the Russian national ski jumping and Nordic combined championships took place.
In 2015, the venue hosted the Nordic combined Summer Grand Prix and the Russian National Championships in ski jumping and Nordic combined as well as regular regional competitions and training sessions. In 2018, it welcomed the Russian National Championships in ski jumping.
The RusSki Gorki ski jumping complex was planned as a training centre for young people and for elite athlete development. However, youth training activity at the venue is limited, as the initially planned smaller jumping hills have not yet been built.
The venue is open to tourists, and guided tours are organised on a daily basis.
