Established in 1886, the Queen’s Club lays claim to being the world’s first multi-purpose sports complex. It has hosted 25 different sports over the years, including ice skating, baseball, athletics and rugby, and was the venue for the annual Oxford vs Cambridge rugby, football and athletics challenges until the late 1920s.
