IPACS welcomes new Partners into the fold
Since the start of the year, six more governments and sports organisations have officially joined IPACS as Partners. In a boost to the partnership’s diversity, these included governments and National Olympic Committees from underrepresented regions.
The six new Partners to join IPACS in 2026 include the Gymnastics Ethics Foundation, the International Federation of American Football, the government of Namibia, the Namibia National Olympic Committee, the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee and the government of Uzbekistan.
The inclusion of new Partners continues the trend identified in the IPACS Partner Report 2025. The report highlighted a growth in the number of Partners, from 51 to 73, in the previous 12 months, constituting a 43% increase. This number has since risen to 84, including the six new Partners to join in 2026, as well as Partners that joined at the end of 2025 after the report’s publication.
Following the launch of the report during the 8th IPACS Annual General Conference, the IPACS Support Office has focused on the priorities highlighted in the report’s conclusion, which included increasing the representation of Partners from underrepresented regions.
The IPACS Support Office continues to welcome expressions of interest in joining the partnership from governments, sports organisations and intergovernmental organisations.
